Open Graded Meetings 2021

Registration will be by online form ONLY with payment at the event.

The Graded Meetings will be held under UKA Rules - UKA Licence

Events are mixed gender with a minimum age of 11 subject to UKA age regulations.

For our current timetable 400m and 3000m have a minimum age of 13 under UKA rules.

Electronic timing will operate at all meetings for all track events excluding walks.

EDM will operate for all throws.

Free car parking is available.

The venue is Ashton Playing Fields, Chigwell Road, Woodford Bridge, IG88AA.

 

CovidAdvice

Anyone showing signs of ill health or Covid-19 should not attend in any capacity.

Please follow all guidance from venue staff and marshals when at the track.

Social distancing and good hand hygiene should be maintained at all times.

For indoor areas please bring face coverings as they are required

Competitors testing positive for COVID-19 within 48 hours of the competition must notify UKA.

Please familiarise yourself with the England Athletics guidance.

 

Event Registration

Event registration is by online form ONLY to regulate numbers.

Payment is on the day at the track when numbers and pins are collected.

Please ensure you have received an email confirmingyour event registration and competition number and please bring a copy of the email with you.

Please check in, pay and collect your numbersat least 30 minutes before your event starts. However, with Covid restrictions in mind, please do not arrive too early and adhere to social distancing. Once your event has finished and you have cooled down, you must leave the stadium promptly.

Athletes can book a maximum of two events.

If you are competing in two events you can stay at the venue till your second event has been completed, but please adhere to the social distance requirements.

U18s will be permitted to bring one parent or guardian.

Over 18s will not be permitted a guest.

Results can be viewed online on the day, with posting to Powerof10.

There will not be a physical results board at the meeting.

Graded Meeting Prices

Under 17s: £5 per event. Over 17s: £7 per event.

 

Event Advice For Throws

We will endeavour to allow six throws depending on conditions.

Athletes can bring their own implements which will be weighed in at registration - this is the preferred option.

Athletes who don’t bring their own use the same implement for all their throws.

 

Event Advice for Track Events

Athletes will be advised of their race and called forward at the appropriate time

Races are run on slowest races first basis

100m - 200m – 400m

Athletes can bring their own starting blocks.

Warmup will be at designated areas of the track advised to you by the marshals’

800m& 3000m

Athletes can warm up round the field.
