With Bertie Powell, middle/long distance adult runners.
Ashton Athletics Centre, Woodford Bridge. Tuesdays, 19.00 – 20.00. The sessions are tailored to mixed ability. We do repetition runs based on time - typically between 90 seconds and 5 minutes, with recoveries of around 2 minutes to regroup. The total time run hard usually adds up to about 25-26 minutes. So the session is best suited to those wishing to improve over 5K-10K. We have had a number of people join us from marathon and half-marathon backgrounds, looking to add some pace to their training. The atmosphere is friendly - very informal.
Warm up is prior to 7pm and is left up to the individual. Normal Redbridge track fee is payable to the track officials.
Our clubhouse (with bar) is open on Tuesdays for post-training refreshments and chat.
