Other T & F results over the weekend from around Europe include news of personal bests over 100m for both Elaine O'Neil, and Junior Ejehu.

Competing as part of the small British Junior (U/20) team that travelled to Manheim for the Junior Gala meeting, Junior Ejehu competed in the 100m, and in placing 4th in the final, improved his personal best to 10.51 secs (+1.5). Junior was also part of the GB 4x100m squad that placed first equal. Sam Watts, although not running was also part of that 6 man relay squad selected for this meeting. In the shot at the same meeting Anthony Oshodi won with a throw of 17.56m. HCA member, Nathan Wake won the 400m with 47.17secs.

At the Cork City Games, international meeting in Ireland, Ezekiel Ewulo competed in the long jump, placing 4th with 7.36m (+2.0), whilst at the Flanders Cup meeting in Oordengem in Belgium, Alasdair Strange was in pole vault action where he cleared 4.87m. In Uden, Holland at the Keien International Meeting, Graham Hedman, won over 400m with 46.39 secs, as did Joice Maduaka over both 100m and 200m with times of 11.57 secs 9-0.7 and 23.35 secs (+0.4). On Sunday in Switzerland at the Resisprint International meeting, held at the helpful altitude of 1000m at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Elaine O'Neil, placed 2nd over 100m with a personal best of 11.39 secs (+2,0). This meeting also produced a personal best for HCA member, Vicky Barr who placed 2nd over 400m with 52.40 secs.
