Commonwealth Games: Frost 4th, Dry 6th, Hedman out
In the hammer, our two men representing Scotland, Andy Frost and Mark Dry, finished 4th and 6th, with throws of 69.08 and 67.41 respectively.
England's Graham Hedman was eliminated in the semi-finals of the 400m, running 47.02 in the process.

Welsh representative Elaine O'Neill failed by 0.04 second to qualify for the final of the Commonwealth Games 100m in Delhi today. Post-race, Welsh Athletics reported Elaine as saying, "I had gone out of the blocks all right, but in the end I just couldn't get it together. I am now looking forward to the 200m."
