Commonwealth Games: Men's Discus, Women's 200m

On Saturday, Emeka Udechuku (England)  qualified for the discus final with a throw of 58.55m, the 5th best of all competitors. Joice Maduaka ( England) and Elaine O"Neil (Wales) both moved through to the women's 200m semi-finals. Joice won the first heat in a time of 23.75 secs (+0.2), and Elaine was 3rd in the fifth heat with 23.85 secs (+0.1), equalling her season's best.
