Commonwealth Games: Women's 200m Final, Men's 3000m s/ch Final, Men's PV, 4x400m heats

Today, Monday, Joice Maduaka placed 4th in the 200m with 23.57 secs (+0.8), also in that final Elaine O'Neil placed 8th in 23.88 secs (+0.8). Alasdair Strange  placed 8th in the Pole Vault with a clearance of 4.95m. In the 3000m s/ch, Youcef Abdi (Aus) was 6th in 8m33.20 secs. England's men's and women's 4x400m teams each moved comfortably through to their finals, the men's squad that qualified included both Nick Leavey and Graham Hedman, whilst the women's included Joice Maduaka.
