European Junior Championships

This afternoon on the opening day of the European U/20 Championships in Tallinn, Estonia, Sam Watts qualified for the final of the 100m. Sam was 2nd in his semi-final clocking 10.66 secs (-1.8), recording the 5th fastest time of the eight qualifiers. Sam's semi-final was run into a significantly stronger headwind than the other two, and with Sam's blocks reportedly having slipped at the start he will he hoping to challenge for a medal in tomorrows's final
