Highlight of the rest of weekend's T&F action included a 3rd place in the Monaco Diamond League for new member Tiffany Ofili-Porter in a UK national record of 12.60 secs and further victories in Europe for Tosin Oke in Barcelona with a season's best in the triple jump of 17.20m (+0.1), and over 3000m s/ch for Youcef Abdi. The Australian was competing in Lapinlahti, Finland and his victory in 8m16.41 secs, was just 0.05 secs outside his personal best and WGwEL club record, and as a World Championship "A" standard will see him added to the Australian team for Daegu. Hywel Care won the Welsh 10,000 title and several other Woodford athletes were in action at the Birmingham Games, and elsewhere.

Hywel Care's victory at Cardiff brought him the Welsh 10,000m title in a season's best of 31m07.06 secs, winning by close to 2 minutes.

In the 100m at Birmingham, Dan Davis placed 7th in the "A" race with 10.78 secs w (+2.4), and then recording 14.39 secs w (+3.5) in the 110mH. In other 100m races, Toyi Durotoye recorded 10.77 secs w (+2.4) in a race won by HCA member Simeon Williamson in 10.42 secs (+2.4). Funshu Joseph recorded 11.17 secs w (+4.7). In the women's 400mH Tracey Duncan won with 58.92 secs. In the field, Stephanie Aneto was 2nd with a season's best in the triple jump of 12.73m (+1.2) with Zainab Ceesay 5th with 12.15m (+1.7). In the women's discus Elycia Metaxas-Belt was 3rd with 34.16m and, returning from injury, Lucy Marshall was 3rd in the hammer with 49.74m.

At the Stretford BMC Grand Prix, Jon Cook placed 8th in a high standard 800m "A" race with 1m 50.12 secs. In the 1500m "B" race Tom Phillips was 6th with 3m51.30 secs, whilst in the women's "A" race Emily Moss was 13th with 4m36.93 secs.
