Daegu World Championships

Jeanette Kwakye and Tiffany Ofili-Porter were today named in the GB&NI team for the upcoming world championships in Daegu, South Korea. Beijing Olympic 100m finalist Kwakye is named for the 100m and the 4x100m relay squad, whilst Ofili-Porter will race over 100mH, and is also named in the 4x100m squad. They will join Commonwealth Games Champion Tosin Oke, who will represent Nigeria in the triple jump, another Bejing finalist, Youcef Abdi, who will represent Australia in the 3000m s/ch, and Tim Abeyie will be in Ghana's 4x100m squad.
