Jeanette had qualified from her heat on Sunday by placing 3rd in 11.42 secs (+0.3). Competing for Australia, Youcef Abdi, like Jeanette a Beijing Olympic finalist, was unable to progress from his heat of the 3000m s/ch as he clocked 8m38.42 secs for 8th.
