English Schools Cup Final: Jessica Burgess

In the English Schools CC Cup Final, 14 year old Jessica Burgess, representing Brentwood School, ran a very good race over a 3k course in the Inter Girls. She placed a highly commendable 20th out of 133 finishers. Jess recorded 11 mins 40 secs, just 55 secs behind winner Jessica Parsons.

Jessica, who has trained with Alistair Holford’s group since she joined in May has just moved up to train with Paul Stockings' and Richard Thurston’s group.
