World Indoor Championships, Istanbul, March 9th-11th

Shana Cox (400m and 4x400m), and Tiffany Porter (60mH) have both been named in the GB&NI team for the upcoming World Indoor Championships. World Indoor silver medalist and UK 60m champion Jeanette Kwakye will not be going to Istanbul having ended her indoor season early. Explaining Jeanette's decision, UKA's Head Coach Charles Van Commenee was quoted  as saying "Jeanette is dealing with an Achilles problem and she obviously doesn't want to jeopardise her preparations for the Olympics, so she is doing the smart thing,"
