Various wins for our men

As the winter season approaches, the weekend saw a number of our men winning races around the country. Alex Cornwell was the fastest man of the day at the University of Manchester Relays. He ran 8.54 on the first leg, and then 8.59, which was 3rd fastest of the day, on the fourth leg. Fellow University of Birmingham student Ed Shepherd ran well with 9.01 and 9.16 on legs 1 and 5.

We had a couple of Park Run wins. Martyn Cryer's 15.48 put him 8th fastest of all time on the Wimbledon Common course, while Tomaz Plibersek's 16.42 at Wanstead Flats placed him 1st by around 50 seconds. M50 Alun Evans ran 20.00 for 6th behind Plibersek.

And Louis Clark won the Pembrokeshire Coastal Trail Half Marathon where the time was meaningless because the half-marathon was actually around 16 miles of ups and downs. In the Dulwich Runners Charity 10K, Ray Dzikowski was 4th overall and first M45 with 36.39.
