Woodford WASPs Trio have their own Super Sunday!
The first of this season’s Minithons at Lee Valley was Gold, Gold, and Gold.
Zahara Malcolm was the overall winner in the Y3 Girls, with a blistering performance of 10.10seconds in the 60m, 35.30seconds in the 200m and 2.04m in the LJ.
Ella Wigul was the overall winner in the Y4&5 Girls with 9.90seconds in the 60m, 3.14m in the LJ and 46cm in the Vertical Jump.
Ben Myres was overall joint winner in the Boys Y4&5 section, with 9.70seconds in the 60m, 3.11m in the LJ and 2mins 12seconds in the 600m.

Thomas Adolfus (Y6&7) 9.3s in the 60m
Max Wintel (Y6&7) 1m56s in the 600m

This competition attracts young athletes from all over the South East of England as it caters form the U9 and U11 age groups. It was a great afternoon and we are all looking forward to the next one on Saturday15th December 2012.
