Schools CC League race 1
The results from the first league races are here. Please note that there is a page in the file for each race/age group for both the Junior and Senior races. Some of the names are not clear or are incomplete (with just the initials) and we have only been able to put the names as detailed in the results envelopes. If Team Managers wish the correct or full names to be included in the results, could they please complete the names clearly and in full. NOTE: Coopersale Hall and West Hatch win the prizes for the best handwriting.
After the first race the results are close in both the team and individual results. A reminder that these are league races and both individuals and teams have to run in all three races to count for final league positions, although not all competitors have to be the same to count for the team event. Please also note that each team has to have a minimum of four finishers to count as a team. There has been a notable increase in the number of competitors in the senior school events and in the number of schools competing in the league, which is a welcome trend. In the junior group, although there have been the same number of schools competing, the number of competitors is lower than in previous years.
We will be presenting the awards after the third set of races on the 10th October. Could last year’s team winners please return the shields this Thursday so that they can be presented to this year’s winners.
