Sarah Claxton this evening qualified for the semi-finals of the women's 100m Hurdles,placing 4th in her heat with a season's best of 12.86 secs (+0.1). Olympic finalist Sarah was the 10th fastest qualifier, and this was her 3rd fastest time ever. On Sunday, Tosin Oke, representing NIgeria, aquitted himself very well in the triple jump qualification, as the former European junior champion improved his personal best and WGwEL Club record by 1cm with a leap of 16.87m (+0.5). In the heats of the 3000m s/ch,Youcef Abdi, the Olympic 6th placer, representing Australia, went out after clocking 8m49.88 secs.
