Fine Hammer Throwing in Gothenburg

Competing last night at the Ullevikast meeting in Gothenburg, Sweden, WGwEL hammer throwers Mark Dry and Andy Frost were both in good form. Mark, last season's UK Number 1, threw a personal best of 71.88m to win the competition and move to second on this year's UK lists. Andy, the former UK Number 1, confirmed his return to form after being at less than his very best the last couple of seasons as he recovered from knee surgery, placing 3rd in 70.31m - his second 70m-plus competition this week. Andy is currently 4th on this year's UK rankings.
