The Club congratulate five of its members on their Olympic selection and wish them success in the forthcoming Games. Dan Awde (pictured), who finished in 21st place in the Beijing decathlon at just 20 years of age and, coincidentally is currently ranked 21st in this year's world rankings, will be hoping to significantly inprove on his position in Beijing. Reigning Commonwealth Games Triple Jump champion Tosin Oke will be competing for Nigeria, and will go into the Games currently ranked number 12 in the world. Tiffany Porter will represent GB&NI in the 100mH where she is world ranked number 7, and Shana Cox will go in the 400m. Yucef Abdi will represent Australia in the 3000m s/ch.
