Holly Pattie-Belilli 2nd. in C.E. event

Coached by Bob Corbett, Holly Pattie -Bellili had a fine weekend at Bedford coming 2nd. in the All England Schools Combined Events Champiionships.

Commencing with a good 100m. hurdles in 14.65sec. she followed with a below par 1.47m high jump and a shot putt of 8.24sec. However, after a personal best 200m. of 25.5 sec. she was lying in 3rd. place with 2728 points at the end of day 1.

Day 2 started with a long jump of 5,28m followed by one of her weaker events, the javelin with 23.77m. In the final event, the 800m. she led from the gun and ran a PB of 2 min 29 sec. to finish with a PB score of 4425 points in 2nd. place overall.
