Mid-week News - Updated

Competing last evening at Fort Worth, Texas, Sam Watts continued his good form recording 10.44 sesc w (+3.6), and a little later 20.84 w secs over 200m (+2.7). Others were in action both overseas and at home, with several personal bests at teh Watford Graded Meeting.

Also sprinting abroad in Latvia at the Riga Cup Meeting, Eugene Ayanful raced over 100m and 200m recording 10.96 secs (+1.6) and 22.09 secs (+0.1). At the Newham Graded Meeting, Jusitin Duru recorded 11.08 secs (+2.0) over 100m, and U/13 Esther Tewogbade recorded a p.b. of 13.93 secs (+0.8).

At the Watford Graded Meeting, tehre were several p.b's. Over 1500m James Stockings placed 4th with 3m53.59 secs, just behind, in 3rd HCA man Ryan McKinlay with also a pb of 3m52..38 secs. U/15 pb.s came from Canan Solomon who won his race,with 4m15.86 secs, and George Hoy with 4m29.84 with 4m15.86 Also over 1500 Sam Benge set a p.b. of 4m15.22 secs, whilst over 3000m there were two further p.b.'s, from U/17 Perry Ronan with 8m59.47 secs, and V35 Jolyon Everitt with 10m11.23 secs. Others in action over 1500m were Emily Moss 4m40.16 secs; Amelia Barrett (U/15) 4m51.35 secs; Isobel Hoy (U/15) with 4m59.67 secs and Rosie Poole (U/15) with 5m02.78 secs.
