Several WGEL athletes were in action at the London Games held at Lee Valley over the weekend. Woodford's 60m performances were led by U/20 Joseph Dewar, and over 800m by Jordan Donnelly.

Although just a fraction below his fine form at the South of England Championships at the same venue the previous weekend, Joseph Dewar nevertheless put in two decent runs over 60m, clocking 6.82 secs in the first and 6.80 secs in the second. Also racing over 60m, was Adrian Stamp  (7.08 secs and 7.18 secs), Jason Greenidge (7.11 secs and 7.13 secs), Justin Duru (7.12 secs and 7.14 secs), U/20  Oluwakorede Atanda (7.52 secs and 7.56 secs) whilst in the women's event, Katie Skelding twice recorded 7.98 secs. In the men's 60m H, Dan Davis recorded 8.16 secs in his first race before improving to 8.05 secs in the second, whilst over 400m Paul Scanlan recorded 51.29 secs.

Jordan Donnelly opened his indoor season with a useful 1m52.80 secs over 800m, whilst Omar Mansour recorded 1m54.45 secs, and Gavin Lewis 1m56.26 secs. In the high jump Jack Lochans cleared 1.91m, and in the women's event Ayamba Akim cleared 1.68 secs.
