Racing at Gainsville, at the very high standard Florida Relays on Saturday, Sam Watts, representing his University (TCU), placed 6th in the "A" 200m with 21.08 secs (-0.6). Whilst Sam's time ranks him 4th in the UK at this early stage of the season, the winner Dedric Dukes of the US clocked the fastest time in the World this year of 19.97 secs. Also racing in Florida was Tiffany Porter wha ran the first leg on the GB "A" 4x100m team which placed 2nd with 43.42 secs. At the Australian National Championships, Youcef Abdi placed 2nd in the 3km s/ch with 8m 53.43 secs.
