Racing at the Rafer Johnson meeting in Los Angeles, Sam Watts won over 100m in a personal best of 10.48 secs (+2.0). Also winning in the US, was Alex Cornwell who was in action at Tuscon, Arizona over 1500m where he clocked 3m54.80 secs, in his first outdoor race of the season. Racing in Tampa, Florida, Dan Awde was close to best ever over 200m as he plcaed 4th with 21.65 secs (+0.7).
